The Coach

Each team has a coach and a manager (optional). As a coach you lead your team in their competition, but also work on improving the soccer skills of all of your players. The club will assist you where we can. We will hold regular coaches meetings where all your issues can be discussed. A coach has a number of tasks and responsibilities:

Important things to do
  • Home games: make sure that field is ready to play on (nets, flags. balls)
  • Fill out the white match card. Home games: have it ready and then give it to opposition
  • Make sure that your team is ready to run on to the field a few minutes before the whistle is due to blow;
  • Make sure you have your Team Cards with you
  • Teams should shake hands with opposition both before and after the match
  • Leave the white match card in pigeon hole of Juniors Coordinator (only for competition teams)
  • Ring Coordinator after your game for result. Results go to Association and will also be published on this website
  • Make a match report for our weekly Newsletter and make sure we have it before Tuesday

Newsletter: Write a Match Report

In 2008 we will be having a monthly newsletter,if you would like to write a short match report or message for your team please email it to broadbeach77@hotmail.com or call Tracey: 44464619

Share Your Shots

More and more we will use this website to publish information about draws, teams, training, gala days etc. Please visit our website regularly to keep up-to-date. It is a great way to let parents and players know what is happening with the team. But we need your input to make it work!

Each team has its own page which you can use to publish news, match reports, ideas for training and, of course, PHOTOS. If you or any of the parents have some nice match shots, send it to us at broadbeach77@hotmail.com and we'll make sure that they get published on your team's page. Others can share in the fun.
